From your warm welcome on arrival to exploring the gardens after your picnic, every detail has been carefully considered to create a relaxed, elegant and unforgettable afternoon. Whether arriving with a friend or simply treating yourself, Garden Gatherings are about connection, nature and making memories in beautiful locations.
How Garden Gatherings Work
Garden Gatherings is a seasonal series of just three exclusive events each year - held over Spring, Summer and Autumn. Every gathering is held in a different stunning Waikato garden, giving you a brand new experience each time.
To keep the excitement alive, the next location isn't revealed until the current gathering has taken place, making each event part of an unfolding journey.
SPRING GARDEN GATHERING:
Location: The Sculpture Park, Waitakaruru Arboretum

While we have shared many of the highlights, a few special touches will remain a surprise until the day. We believe some moments are best discovered in person.
PLEASE NOTE: Garden Gatherings are styled using low picnic tables with ground cushions, creating a relaxed boho experience. We will try to provide some higher ottoman/stool seating however if you are unable to sit comfortably on the ground for an extended period, this event may not be suitable.
ACCESSIBILITY: Please note this is a walking event held within a garden setting. The paths include hills and uneven terrain, so a reasonable level of fitness and supportive footwear are recommended to ensure you can comfortably enjoy the afternoon.
